Our chalets – alpine elegance and Lungau lifestyle.
Modern architecture, gently nestled into the landscape, shows plenty of timber and stone inside and out. In the chalets you can enjoy a garden, a small wellness area with sauna, practical, chic interiors, fine fabrics and leather. Here, detail is a way of life – after all, it makes the small but decisive difference. All in all, Lerchpeuntgut is a holiday spot that shines with alpine elegance and ease. We call this lightness “the Alpenfreud”.

Good to know
Everything possible, nothing required.
That is the idea behind Lerchpeuntgut. Perfectly looked after, yet left in peace. Guests decide for themselves and do as they please. That might be cosy hours in the lounge of the main house, or time alone in their chalet. Breakfast is brought to the chalet. Little treats or good wine can be picked up at any time in the Alpenfreud village shop. Wonderfully uncomplicated, true to our motto: “Head on up and wind on down”. Active by day or lazing on the terrace – either way, a sauna session before dinner rounds things off nicely. And in between, a glass of wine is always welcome, of course. A holiday with us is Alpenfreud.

In general, the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions of the Professional Association of Accommodation Establishments dated 23 September 1981 apply to all bookings/reservations. Should you be unable to take up your stay at Lerchpeuntgut for any reason, we will do our utmost to let your chalet to other guests.
If we cannot find another guest, the following cancellation terms apply:
- 3 months to 1 month before arrival: 40% of the total price
- 1 month to 1 week before arrival: 70% of the total price
- In the last week before arrival: 90% of the total price
- On the day of arrival or in case of early departure: 100% of the total price
Better safe than sorry: with travel cancellation insurance, all cancellation costs are reimbursed, so you can comfortably book Lerchpeuntgut for another date.
- Check-in from 4 pm to 6 pm
- Check-out by 10 am
- In the chalets: minimum stay of 3 nights
- Breakfast is included in the rates and is delivered to your chalet or apartment
- Overnight rates are subject to visitor’s tax from age 17, max. € 2.50 per person per day

- Final cleaning chalets: from € 170 / apartments: from € 70
- Our “Alpenfreud” shop with essential groceries is always accessible
- Our natural swimming pond can be used at any time during the warmer months
- Laundry service on request. We are always happy to help.
- Tamsweg (a 15-minute walk) has a lively village life with many shops, restaurants and inns.
Children are welcome at any time. Our chalet category “The Family”, with its children’s room featuring 4 sleeping dens, is especially well suited to families with younger children. Adventure awaits right on the doorstep. There is plenty to discover and experience at Lerchpeuntgut and in the neighbouring forest.
Dogs are very welcome here. The grounds offer plenty of space for your four-legged friends to run around. Our dog agility park is perfect for playing and letting off steam. It goes without saying that you are responsible for cleaning up after your dog and that the house rules must be observed. For stays with a dog, we reserve the right to charge a surcharge of € 25.00 per day per dog for final cleaning. (Stays with dogs are possible in the chalets only.)
